Right on
the Money is
a six week program that includes classroom instruction with lively
interactive participation, games, and activities. Students will
have the opportunity to open up a savings accounts with a participating
local financial institution at the culmination of this program.
In this way the can immediately apply the principles they have
learned during the sessions.
Our certified coaches
provide young people with a thorough understanding of the value
of money. Right on the Money concentrates on many vital principles,
including long-term saving and investing, philanthropy, the importance
of maintaining good credit, and being a smart consumer.
Each week, students
meet with the instructor for a one hour session. Average class
sizes range between 15 and 20 students to provide a nurturing
learning environment conducive to high levels of interaction.
At the end of the six week program, each student is awarded a
Right on the Money Certificate of Completion to acknowledge their
accomplishment.
